How do you remove hubcaps from lawn tractor wheels?
Insert a small flat-head screwdriver under the hubcap where it seats on the wheel rim. Slightly turn the screwdriver to start prying off the hubcap.
How do you remove a hubcap from a Craftsman riding lawn mower?
Pull the axle cover off a wheel with adjustable pliers. Slide the washer and retaining ring off the axle. Grasp the square key behind the wheel on the axle with needle-nose pliers and pull it straight up to remove it.
How do you take the rear wheel off a MTD riding lawn mower?
Strike the head of the axle bolt with a hammer three times to knock away some of the rust adhering the axle to the rim. Remove the center bolt completely with the socket wrench. Grab the tire on two sides and pull it straight off the axle.
Where does the Jack go on a riding mower?
Center the floor jack with the front or rear of the riding mower tractor. Roll the floor jack directly underneath the front or rear axle.
