What is the difference between draft control and position control?
In position control the main lever position is directly related to the height of the three-point hitch. In draft control the main lever actually selects the tractive force of tillage implements. In mixed control the function of the main lever is a combination of position and draft controls.

When a tractor 3 point hitch doesn’t operate properly, many times low fluid, a clogged hydraulic filter, or low or contaminated hydraulic fluid is the cause of the problem.
How do 3 point hitches work?
Three – point hitches are composed of three movable arms. The two lower arms—the hitch lifting arms— are controlled by the hydraulic system, and provide lifting, lowering, and even tilting to the arms. Each hitch has attachment holes for attaching implements, and the implement has posts that fit through the holes.
Does draft control need?
No, draft control will not put more down force on the implement, but it will let you set a more aggressive angle on the box blade, without having to worry about it digging in to deep and stopping you. The way draft control works is it senses when the implement tilts foward due to it hitting more resistance in the soil.
